Golden, Colorado · [30 yo] · geological engineer · [looking for long term relationship, one person]
I'm a map enthusiast, trail runner, and geological engineer.
I grew up in Michigan - can't say where without using my hand, sorry.
Did a PhD in geological engineering. I sit at my computer and write code most days, and I like it that way.
I run and bike uphill, mostly on the trails around Golden. My coffee order goes like this: "I'll have a chai latte, also would you mind if I installed a bike rack out front?" I play piano, badly enough to keep practicing, but good enough the Steinway salesperson thought I should have gone to conservatory.
I bought a 1950s house earlier this year. Generally involves trying to fix something for three weeks, then paying someone else to fix it in 15 minutes. I'm learning French, with which I can pretend that I am Canadian and then switch to English. I have a cat. I'd rather take the train.

Someone seriously curious, who will follow a thread three levels too deep. Someone comfortable with debate, to take a side and hold it. Being able to disagree yet feel secure is something I really value. I'm used to doing most of this stuff alone and I'm good at it. But it'd be better if you wanted to come dance and travel with me. I'm basically a regular at the Church nightclub this year.
Here because it's home, not just on a two-year detour to find yourself.
Tell me what you're way too into right now. The longer the better.
You can also sign my guestbook, except I never built one, so this is the guestbook.
